And the 300th post is........

Something big for Verdy. One of these men is coming to Verdy to play as a striker......I'll give you a hint. He started out in Brazil and made his J League debut in Kawasaki.......not yet? Allright, here's another hint....It's not Kazu.
Givalnildo Viera De Souza has officially signed with Verdy on a full transfer. No strings attached.
Hulk went to Consadole Sapporo last year after a short stint with Kawasaki Frontale. During his stay up north, the burly striker notched 25 goals in an economical 38 games. More troubling was another thing he did with massive proficiency, he notched cards. Hulk, like his comic counterpart, had a bit of trouble with his temper notching a hefty 15 yellow cards and 3 reds.....putting him among the league leaders in getting carded.
Teaming up with Kazuki Hiramoto puts an attack (on paper) that is head and shoulders above the rest of J2. One hopes that the 20 year old goal prodigy can be guided by former teammate Marcus to keep his emotions in check.
Big things happening in Verdyworld!

Loan/signing whatever that is fantastic news for us and comedy value for the rest of the season, Hulk in green,Hulk-a-mania etc who needs the lion in defence when youve got The Hulk up front!! Wow!! Im painting myself and the family Green for the first game next year!!

by the way a loan from Sapporo?? Youve got to wonder why they`d loan out someone who scored a ruck last season unless he just doesnt like freezing his nuts off in Hokkaido all season long!!

No....it's a loan from Kawasaki Frontale, who kept his rights. He was loaned to Consadole who are hemmoraging money like half the league.

I have been waiting for him since november and finally Hulk will be the partner of Hiramoto! :D

I think Verdy has a good team for returning to J1, please Ramos put some youngs in the squad and be patient...

Nick, Steve do you think this squad is better than last year's squad?

On the one side, in my opinion the players who signed up are better than Dedimar, Anailson, Basilio and also cut other bad and old players such as Mizuhara, Yanasigawa, Hayama, Uemura for example. On the other, Verdy also cut good young players players as Togawa, Kuba and Kanazawa. :'(

But if Shibasaki, Sonoda, Killoran... play well the youngs who were cut won't be missed!

Well, from what I hear Togawa will be back and Kanazawa just reupped for another year

I think the team now could've beat anybody in J2 last year......unfortunately Kyoto and surprisingly Shonan are better as well.

I had red your last post, I'm happy because Kanazawa and Togawa will stay with Verdy next season :D

Specially Togawa because the weakest line is the defense.
