Well, the exasperation and irritation at the incompetence of the "MESSIAH" finally hit the breaking point. Instead of writing about how a team with an embarrassment of talent riches could fail so miserably against a second rate club was more than I could bear. Seriously, I don't understand how a team of former National teamers, best 11's from other storied clubs and all-around veterans could appear so flat and out of their depth after blowing 4 games. Do they care? I'm not sure. Does CyberAgent care? I believe they do but have little clue what to do for plan B. Should I care? Should you?
Letting up 2 goals in the first 20 odd minutes after doing the same thing in the last game is pathetic. 5 yellow cards is pathetic after having those issues 2 games ago is pathetic. Being outscored 15-5 is pathetic. Starting a bloated MF in the wrong position and letting him stall the offense is pathetic.
I didn't know what else to do, so until the Rui era in J2 has ended, this will be a "THESPA KUSATSU" blog..........Why Thespa Kusatsu? I got no friggin clue. Until Rui either rights this listing ship or quits......you will see a header and pictures featuring Thespa Kusatsu. Ohhhh, I'll still blast Verdy and give you the same news updates, but it will be blue in protest.
Do the right thing, Ramos.........GET OUT!

From the Sanspo:
泥沼の5連敗。開幕から4勝1分けの好スタートからの急失速だ。それでも萩原球団社長は「この状況を立て直せるのはラモスしかいない、辞めさせるつもりはまったくない」と明言。
Translation into English:
Mired in the mud of five straight losses, following a decent 4-1-0 start to the season, Verdy is quickly falling apart. Nevertheless, President Hagiwara made it clear that "The only person who can get the team back on its feet from this situation is Ramos. There is no plan to make him resign."
Translation into common-sense English:
Verdy is playing like crap.
President Hagiwara admitted, "No, I havent got the slightest clue what the f#@k Im doing. Does it really show?"
OH YEAH, I read that in the Nikkan.......I think if the fan numbers stay around 2500, something will change.
Thespa seem like a team on the up. Is this Verdy's lowest ever point?
I was very worried about the possibility of Ramos continuity but now the nightmare has become reality.
Too pathetic...
Come on now boys!! Win the next one,get our confidence back up get another couple on the spin and we are back in it.Hiramoto is back too so thats a definate PLUS.I think he MUST start the next game.Ramos DID have them playing like demons for the first five games,OK so he`s got his faults (and they are many) but i for one will give him the benefit of the doubt for a little while longer.Who`s to say the guy they replace him with will be any better?? Anyone remember Landro Ossie Ardiles replacement?? Carried on in the same vein and sank down to J2. Lets get behind the team, cheer our heads off next time out and if in a few weeks we are still in the same position and still on the same run then.Maybe it`ll be time to get rid.5 games is a while without a win but in a 46 game season not a catastrophe.C`mon the boys!!!!
I have to disagree with you Nick.....Ossie's replacement took over a team that pretty much had given up. He didn't do a good job but he also didn't handpick guys in his image to do the job. Also there's a big difference between getting run by Jubilo Iwata and getting embarrassed by Tokushima Vortis in your own house.
Seriously, I hate it when "character guys" are brought in for ther heart and smarts and then make stupid gutless decisions. And getting outplayed in the opening minutes 2 games in a row reflects directly on the coach......the squad isn't prepared. I thought Joel Santana did a decent job at Vegalta but they filed and he got run. And now they are poised to get promotion. And really, the stats show that teams that get off to slow starts in J2 don't get promoted so it needs to get turned around tomorrow or else it might be done before it starts.
I can't take Ramos. When he was at Sanga he behaved such as if he was god-on-earth, and then was spending the weekends boozing in Kiyamachi's night clubs. He is clearly incompetent as a coach, while his fame as player is due to the fact that he was the only Japanese/Brazilian in an era when Japanese players were little more than amateurs. As a Sanga-fan, it is an advantage for me to see him on Verdy's bench, but for the love of the game, I hope he is sent to coach in JFL asap.
Goru_no _ura, aka Sanga's Nanbanjingumi
Fair enough to disagree and I will be in full agrement if the run continues for MUCH longer but where there is a mullet there is a way!!! Never forget the power of the perm!! Graeme Souness did not conquer Europe with a manly hairdo and neither did Kevin Keegan!! Both were fully paid up members of the bouffant union, long live the bouffant!!
Seriously though, another consideration might be Ramos` wages/contract Im sure second rate has been TV variety people dont come cheap you know!!
On the Sendai score they have been on the verge of promotion every year, and never made it back up since they went down.Whats the difference between losing to a J1 level team (Jubilo and a host of others))when we are in J1 and losing to Tokushima (and a few others) when in J2.Losing is losing and there is no honour in losing to a J1 team when we had a J1 standard (or so we thought) squad .Its the same as losing to a J2 squad now.We USED to be in J1 but it counts for NOTHING now. We lose to teams now because they are better than we are on the day.We can`t afford to be snobby about who we are.We are J2 cos we deserve to be and we can`t say we are better than anyone in the division till the points tally at the end of the season says so.Names and former history mean nothing. A sneaky 1-0 will do for starters tomorrow (though a 5-0 away win would be more pleasing!!). Ramos or no Ramos lets hope we get the points on the board. SMELL THE GREEN!! GO ON SNIFF IT!!
Also,if we lose tomorrow and to Mito on Thursday we might get to see a live lynching so its not all bad!!

Speaking of lynchings, the fans in Omiya(myself included) are about ready to kill the GM.....team got booed off the field and supporters were calling for Sakuma's head after the game.
How I picked 2 teams totally out of their depth is beyond me.
