VERDY DROPS FOUR

Today is a very sad day for Soilent Green as our favorite Verdy player "Martin" Saito gets shown the door. Hobbled by injuries and sliding down in the depth chart left the management with pretty much no choice. Saito got into 6 games, failing to score in any of them.
Taisei Fujita got into 10 games and played relatively well, but was too small and not physical enough to fill in the middle. Fujita was featured in the 3-5-2 as one of the wings when Verdy was in desperate and deserves a little credit for helping to right the ship.

GK Takuya Muro didn't see any action
Masahiro Ohashi came off the bench to help Kawasaki Frontale finish in 5th. Ohashi notched 4 goals and had 3 assists. Verdy decided to let him go instead of signing and renting him again.

The good news for these players is the introduction of FC Gifu and Rosso Kumamoto to J2 along with the rapidly thinning ranks of Yokohama FC and Ventforet Kofu. Don't be surprised if one or two of these guys are featured in a Satoshi Tsunami led lineup.
