In other news, Vissel Kobe was given a 2 man advantage and still could manage only a tie against Consadole Sapporo. The tie means that Sapporo is 2 points out of the relegation promotion spot and 4 points away from catching Verdy, thus putting even more of an impetus on tonight's little get together.

Kaz Iio picks up a yellow in an attempt to get his uniform dirty and that ends the game 2-1 for Verdy. Big win and looks like a good team effort.
Shots tightened up near the end as it was 11-10 Verdy....also corners went 6-1 in favor of Reysol
Ancient Mariner Ueslei pulled a brace late to edge out Jubilo 2-1.
For the moment, the win puts Verdy in 12th place, ahead of Jubilo by goal differential and Omiya by 1pt.....although Omiya has a game in hand against the always tough Nagoya Grampus.
