Fit to be tied

The scoreless streak continues as Coach Hashiratani and the lads went out to a 0-0 draw with the always tough Shimizu S Pulse.

Verdy opted to go with the behemoth Yuzo Funakoshi up top in place of Leandro in a bizarre one top formation. However, the team did manage to get off 12 shots to Shimizu's 8.

The tie puts the team last in the 4 team group

Next up for team green is a visit to out of form side Gamba, who find themselves in the same precarious position as Verdy early on in the season. A win would do wonders for the confidence of Tokyo's other squad.......hell, a goal would probably boost their spirits immensely.
